

The program framework includes three main directions.
•To support the implementation of the EaP strategy in Civil Society Confidence Building in South Caucasus
•To build a mechanism for full-fledged cooperation between the Armenian civil society, European organizations and the government on policy issues
•To contribute to the implementation of higher education reform in Armenia in light of the Bologna process.
After the launch of the Eastern Partnership, EPF Armenia in cooperation with a number of Armenian well-known NGO’s initiated a circle of meetings, discussions, and round tables dedicated to different aspects and dimensions of the Eastern Partnership Program. The opening event, that took place on June 18th, 2009 was entitled “Conflict Resolution in the South Caucasus and the Eastern Partnership Program”. It hosted Armenian non-governmental and governmental sector representatives, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions of EU member states and Eastern Partner states at EPF office in Yerevan.
The project on “Manual on Europe” aims at generating discussion on the EU structure, history, and the Armenia-EU relations throughout Armenia and particularly among the youth. The manual will describe the above topics in an easily understandable and user-friendly manner.
EPF in cooperation with the Yerevan State Linguistic University is implementing a project that facilitates modernization of the Armenian higher education system to fit it with the with the Bologna requirements.
On July 15-19 2009, EPF supported a seminar that discussed practical recommendations on the improvement of the process of reforms in higher education system of Armenia. A team of experts will elaborate on the results of the seminar to produce a set of policy recommendations and an action plan which will be advocated with the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Armenia, higher educational institutions, and other major stakeholders in Armenia.
Eurasia Partnership Foundation launched its Europe Program in January 2009.
